Happiness is one of the things we all chase after, maybe if we get a little richer we’ll be happier or maybe if that girl says yes we may be happier or perhaps if we change jobs we might be happier. Whatever the case is, one thing is clear, in our minds, if we achieve something, reach a point or mark something off our checklist we will be happier.
While this may be the case, we often find ourselves in “unhappy” situations, maybe we’re broke or worse, poor, maybe that girl said no or just “wants to be friends” or perhaps we can’t quit our job because there’s no job somewhere else and we have bills to pay and family to feed.
As I listened to my friend tell me about how his girlfriend recently and abruptly broke up with him over a trivial issue, I tried to console him as much as I could. He was head over heels for her and she told him she loved him two days prior, he even met her dad but all of a sudden they were no more and he was so confused. He has tried to get her back but all to no avail and she said she's not feeling it any more. What went wrong? Only she and God knows...

I had been living with these thoughts for a while but didn't really pay too much attention to them but when I had an outlet, I poured them out.
I had a lot of doubt about a lot of things such as my future, the book I'm writing and potential relationships, I used sentences like "I don't know," "I'm not sure," "I don't think I should," "I don't think I'm there yet," etc. That's why I decided to write this blog post for me and for you just in case you need it! Hop on and let me show you some amazing ways to deal with self-doubt. Let's gooo!
In about 5 days, millions of Nigerians will leave their houses to queue up in voting centres to exercise their civic duty and cast their vote for their Presidential candidate.
